Born and raised in Healdsburg, California, Liz Angeles graduated high school with honors in Las Vegas and subsequently attended UNLV majoring in Physical Education and Romance Languages. Since her first story written at age 8, "The Brave Skunk Family," Liz always knew she wanted to be a writer, but her highly social nature distracted her for decades. Self-employed most of her life, she has reinvented herself many times. A self-taught painter who was prolific during her late 30s and early 40s, [lizangeles.com], Liz had also been licensed as a court reporter and realtor in both California and Nevada. Other occupations since puberty have included waitress, actress, model and sales rep. In her 30s, Liz wrote many poems and even customized poetry for friends and clients, as well as marketing copy for brochures and business cards she also designed. Her friends call her the "Slogan Vixen," and claim she missed her calling--that she should have been in advertising. From 2001-2003 Liz wrote many articles for the Santa Monica Observer until she became editor. In 2009, she went on to become the editor for ABILITY Magazine. Before turning 50, Liz published her first book, 45 and Pregnant. Currently a single mother living in Santa Monica, Liz's passion for over two decades has been to make people feel amazing with stress-reducing 'blizful' massages--often to A-list celebrities. She is currently expanding her practice into Wellness Director with BLIZFUL.life: guiding others towards health, vitality, longevity, joy and peace. She enjoys comedy, yoga, painting, ping pong, hiking, dancing, traveling, massages, film, music, good books and most of all ... her wonderful daughter.
