I am a corporate traveler, having grown up in the corporation for forty years, specifically in tech. I am a computer scientist who started in the advanced R & D lab working on cutting-edge local area network protocols and participated in one way or another in every major inno vation and breakthrough along the way—through cloud and now generative AI. I am a Forbes AI contributor. I have dedicated myself to doing what I can to help pave the way for women in tech so they stay in tech. I am a wife and mother who has always pushed the envelope in my work and life and has struggled to find and make time for my health. I believe I worked right on the edge of burnout, which is why I desperately wanted to write this book: to learn the lessons myself and because I know others struggle with this.
