Lindsay is the author of nine previous novels written under Lindsay Maracotta. Accolades include two mass market bestsellers, numerous Top Ten Mystery lists, People Magazine Book of the Week and main selection of Book of the Month Club. Her books have been translated into fourteen languages and adapted for a Hallmark Channel cable movie. She also wrote for the Emmy-nominated HBO series The Hitchhiker and co-produced a number of films including Hallmark's The Dead Moms Mystery and the feature Breaking At The Edge. Before making a living as a writer, she held a wide variety of jobs: waitress in a trendy club; waitress in a funky dive; catalogue model; assistant to a rock star; cat sitter (required many of the same skills as previous job); researcher at Esquire Magazine; and briefly -- and unwittingly -- a bag man for the mob.
