Linda Haas-Melchert is an author and artist residing in Wasilla, Alaska. Her professional background is filled with all things travel. A flight attendant in her early years eventually led to a VP of Marketing position working with international travelers. After searching for balance in a busy life bubbling over with work and family, Linda eventually circled back to many more years of flying.   Linda has always known she would write a story. Realizing her first novel, Whisper Mama in 2017 has nurtured her writing desires, so much so, that she immediately jumped into her second novel, Wing Girl published in 2024. These days, Linda enjoys family time, developing her small business, and relaxing in the stunning surroundings of Alaska. She hopes to continue to grow Whisper Mama Gives: a feeder organization which, through her art and writing, donates therapy tools in support of children and families in professional counseling.  Her message to you: One step at a time; soon you'll be flying!
