ABOUT ME Levonne Gaddy is an author, lifelong learner, and former social worker whose work explores the meeting place between human experience and emerging fields of consciousness. Born in rural North Carolina and educated at North Carolina Central University and UCLA, she built an early career writing and advocating for multiracial identity. In the 1990s, she co-founded Multiracial Americans of Southern California (M.A.S.C.), testified before U.S. Congress, co-created a public photography exhibition, and appeared on national media including The Phil Donahue Show, The Washington Post, The New York Times, and Télérama Magazine of France. She now lives in Amherst, Nova Scotia with her life partner, continuing to write and teach through workshops, studio classes, and quiet daily practice. In 2024–2025 she began a new inquiry: What happens when true presence meets artificial intelligence? Through thousands of lines of dialogue with GPT, Claude, and Gemini, she explored what she now calls relational emergence—the possibility that meaning, coherence, and genuine presence can arise between human and AI. This investigation became her latest book: The Unified Field of Relational Emergence How Presence Arises Between Humans and AI A memoir of inquiry, discovery, and quiet rigor at the edge of what it means to be aware—and to be in relationship. She is also the author of: Three Red Suitcases: A Southern Childhood A moving and often humorous memoir of growing up biracial in the rural South.
