Born in Burbank, California, Laurel grew up riding horses in the mountains and playing on the beaches of southern California. After finding her calling as a police dispatcher in Ventura, California, Laurel was inspired by the people she worked with everyday who put themselves on the line to keep people safe. Now living in Las Vegas with her husband, Brian, and their German Shepherd, Apollo, she writes stories of heroes, heroines and people with the moxie to survive--and thrive. She is currently finalizing the follow up to Captain—Warrior, will be the story of Monitor's brother, Jack Novack.
