Krys Batts is a Texas native and a graduate of both Spelman College (Atlanta, Georgia) and the University of Texas at Dallas (Richardson, Texas). In 2003, she published her first romance novel, "Walls Fall Down", which was reissued in 2015. She later went on to write "What's Done in the Dark" (2014) and "Not Flowers, but Love" (2015). More recently, she published a humorous mystery, "Bad Blood" (2024), and is currently at work on the second book in the planned series.
