Kirsten Pendreigh is a children’s author and poet from Canada's West Coast. WHEN A TREE FALLS, the lyrical story of how fallen trees nurture new life, publishes in March 2025 with Chronicle Books and WHAT FISH ARE SAYING, a rhyming nonfiction about fish communication comes out in August 2025 with Sourcebooks. Kirsten's poems are found in Canadian literary magazines and in Best Canadian Poetry 2021.
