Kent Welch was born in Oscoda Michigan in 1973. Brought to church regularly, he came to know the Lord when he was eleven years old while attending a summer camp at Baptist Hill campground in Mount Vernon Missouri. During his Sophomore year at Southwest Baptist University, he felt the call to the ministry and has pastored five churches (three in Missouri and two in Indiana) over the past 30 years. He presently serves as Pastor of Covenant Missionary Baptist Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is also the chairman of Covenant Missionary Society. Kent has taken numerous trips to share the gospel in Ghana, Liberia, India, Pakistan, and Romania. From 2015 to 2017, he served as Head of School at Coram Deo Academy, a K-12 Classical Christian school in Carmel Indiana, where he also taught Systematic Theology and The Unity of the Bible. He has served in a bivocational capacity throughout his ministry and works in the technology field to support his family. He is the author of two books, Chronological Survey of the Old Testament, and The Lost Anchor.
