I’m Just a Chicago writer, With a crowded brain, Weaving and penning stories fed to me by characters with bullhorns, I’m literally just a Chicago writer, With a brain filled over capacity with ideas, Inspired by everything, even the music from the neighbors back porch, Tapping away, Attempting to accurately pen sometimes three or more stories at once. Waking up everyday with the same noise, But some days from new faces, Presenting a new story. I’m just another writer, Being controlled and prodded by mere figments of my imagination, They’re more than that though! They have to be, I mean after we’ve given them attributes, problems and these unique names. But wait, don’t forget the pictures of people we “barrow” from Instagram or whatever site to give them faces, I’m really just another writer! Trying to make sure I deliver a story worth the countless migraines and cups of coffee I put my mind and body through. Oh the sacrifices, Let’s not get into those! The countless hours of thought, moments of missing in action expressions and seconds of frustration. I’m not just a writer, I’m a creator! Kennedy B.
