In June 2011, Crown published "Cooking for Gracie," a memoir and cookbook based on food writing first published in The New York Times. Keith was born in Durham, North Carolina in 1971 but was raised in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania. He attended Hobart College in Geneva, New York. He has been on the staff of The New York Times for nineteen years, and lives in Westchester with his wife, Jessica, and their daughters, Grace and Margot.
