2019 International Book Awards Finalist - Spirituality:Inspirational. 10% profits to the Brain & Spine Foundation. In March 2015 I was taken into A&E with a life threatening illness - Subarachnoid Brain Hemorrhage. I was treated by The Salford Royal Hospital with 4 brain operations leading to a Shunt inside. This condition is 50% survival, the remaining have serious disabilities like hearing, unable to walk, partially paralyzed and perminant brain damage. I'm extremely lucky that I'm here to be able to share my story and now trying to do my best to give something back to help others. I have created video blogs, do regular motivational talks at schools/ universities/ organisations of my journey. I'm also on the board of Trustees for the Brain and Spine Foundation Charity UK aswell as a community Ambassador. The BSF are a great support network for people and families like mine. Due to my current side effects, I had to change my work - I'm now CEO of Jardin living holding my own lifestyle Brands - Ration.L & Reflexone & Jardin Living, started after 25yrs of being vice president in a global fashion company. My first book 'Room 23 ' was published on Amazon on the 6th November 2018 by 'She Writes Press' publishing. I love painting, singing, walking, writing, yoga and most of all my family!
