Katie Rasoul is the author of Hidden Brilliance: A High-Achieving Introvert’s Guide to Self-Discovery, Leadership and Playing Big (2018). It is an Amazon Best Seller from several categories, including Business & Money Skills, Communication, and Motivational. The book, Hidden Brilliance, was born out of a personal pivot point her career that led to the incredible TEDx talk, “Uncovering the High-Achieving Introvert”, that she presented at TEDxUWMilwaukee in 2017. She is also the author of articles published on Thrive Global, One Idea Away, and on her own website, www.teamawesomecoaching.com. Katie has spent her career leading leadership, organizational development and HR best practices for more than a decade. Today, she is a leadership coach and culture advisor helping leaders grow personally and professionally through her company, Team Awesome. Katie is an expert in the fields of talent development, leadership, employee workplace experience, and personal development. She also co-hosts The Life and Leadership Podcast as a platform of conversations for powerful people to level up. With her co-host, Tegan Trovato, they cover topics that are meaningful to entrepreneurs and leaders in all aspects of work or life through interviews and in-depth discussions. Katie speaks to entrepreneurs, team leaders, and C-level executives, who are driven leaders and often introverted. She believes that high-achieving introverts are way too awesome to be playing small, meant for bigger things than a slow death by conference calls. She currently resides in the metro area of Milwaukee, Wisconsin with her husband Jason and two children. Katie is a proud advocate for her awesome hometown of Milwaukee, and dedicates significant time to advancing women in leadership and bringing social issues to light in Milwaukee. She is a macaroni and cheese aficionado, speaks French, and plans to join the roller derby someday.
