K.E. Semmel is a writer and translator. The Book of Losman (SFWP) is his debut novel. His fiction and nonfiction have appeared in Ontario Review, Washington Post, HuffPost, Electric Literature, The Millions, World Literature Today, Southern Review, The Rumpus, Lithub, and elsewhere. His translations include books by Karin Fossum, Naja Marie Aidt, Jussi Adler Olsen, Simon Fruelund, and Mathilde Walter Clark, among others.
