John Fast is a father, grandfather, and-great grandfather. His work in the oil and gas sector has taken him all over the world, including several years in various countries throughout the Middle East. His fields of study include international politics, history, and conflict resolution, but he contends that his greatest education came from his years of involvement with members of addiction recovery programs. His books include You Can’t Stop Love and The 12 Steps to Peace. He has also authored a dark comedy screenplay entitled It’s Great Being Me. All his work focuses on the practical benefits of spiritual transformation. To cite the millions of those in recovery who have personally experienced such a transformation: “If a bunch of drunks can be restored to sanity and become the most loving and peaceful people in the world, why can’t we all?”
