Jim Ferguson is a poet and prose writer based in Glasgow, Scotland. Jim has been writing and publishing since 1986. His collection 'the art of catching a bus and other poems' is published by AK Press. For the past 6 years or so Jim has been writing, among other things, a biography of the Paisley weaver-poet Robert Tannahill (1774-1810). This work entiteld 'A Weaver in Wartime', though unpublished, has now been completed. He has a spoken word cd entitled 'QUIRKY'. In 2002 he graduated with distinction from the MLitt Creative Writing programme at the University of Glasgow. His work has been published in numerous journals and literary magazines, including Edinburgh Review, Northwords, Cutting Teeth, Nerve, Echo Room, Rebel Inc., West Coast Magazine, The Wide Skirt, Scree, Gutter and Air. Dr Ferguson regularly gives readings of his work in Scotland; some of which can be found on Youtube.
