Jere Silber is an accomplished writer, producer, and director with an impressive portfolio in cable television. An award-winning camera operator, he is best known for his work on "News Counterpoint." In 1999, Jere received a Monty Award for writing, producing, and directing a video inspired by his debut children's book, "Tree Story". The audiobook version of “Tree Story” was included in the 44th Annual Grammy Awards in the Spoken Word category. In 2001, he earned his second Monty Award for producing "Mister Word Wizard," a children's television show starring Richie Havens. Jere continued to enrich his literary repertoire with "Up in the Sky," published in 2014 to celebrate the birth of his first granddaughter, Skylar.
