Jay Fortune has lived all over England. He currently resides in Blackpool which embodies his love of entertainment and art. A full-time artist and writer, Jay spends his days reading, painting, writing and ‘Tourist Dodging’, cycling along the promenade whilst avoiding the holiday-makers. He loves books, art, magic, camomile tea* and cake. Jay recently celebrated his second decade of non-TV ownership. His debut novel, the highly praised All Fall Down, a dystopian psychological thriller was published in 2022. Never one to be pigeon-holed, Jay’s first Young Adult novel, Snowlands Book 1 – Zak and the Wanderer (2022) followed, bringing his writing to a new audience. With the release of his first short-story collection, Confessions, (2024) Jay continues to delight his growing fanbase across the world with his fantastical imagination, conjuring characters, plots, twists and turns that leave his readers eager for more.
