I not only love writing but am currently working on a wide variety of topics in styles that will be entertaining and thoughtful and, where possible, expressed from a human and sometimes humorous perspective. My desire to write developed from what you might consider an unlikely blue-collar childhood environment. My Dad worked for the railroad and whatever other side jobs he could get. Although bright, his attempted business adventures often failed due to his lack of education and poor reading skills. Seeing that made me realize the importance of education and inspired me to learn everything about anything I had the slightest interest in. I became a lifelong learner. My education included creative writing, drama, public speaking, advanced mathematics, and eventually a B.A. degree from Dallas Baptist University in Psychology and Theology with a minor in Koine Greek. Over the years, my corporate, Fortune 500 jobs involved significant ongoing training in marketing, computers, programming, technical writing, and management. That extensive training broadened my understanding and enabled me to write about different subjects and styles, including product manuals, software guides, Bible Study courses, personal experiences, and devotionals for work, friends, family, and church.
