JR Gondeck grew up in rural Wisconsin, he attended Marquette University where he receive his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He later obtained his MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. JR joined the investment industry in 2003 with Morgan Stanley working under the late, Dr. Eugene Lerner. While at Morgan Stanley, he facilitated the transformation from working primarily with institutional investors to private, high net worth families. As Partner and Managing Director with The Lerner Group, JR works with families to promote intentional communication and drive collaboration between all generations. He is an advocate for financial literacy, he strives to help families navigate through three stages of wealth planning: Asset accumulation, Estate and Legacy planning.
