I'm a writer of mystery and suspense stories. I've served as a coordinator of a Mystery Writers of America satellite, presented at the Left Coast Crime and Bouchercon mystery writing conferences, and I'm a member of Sisters in Crime (as a "Mister"). My first book, Double Take, quickly became a Kindle Top-Ten seller in the detective category. I have a degree in creative writing from California State University at Long Beach, and I erred my first paycheck for writing when I was in High School and John Wiley & Sons published my satirical Guide To The National Aptitude Exam.
