J A Hoda knows a thing or two about following the clues. Former cop, insurance fraud investigator, and presently a licensed private detective for the past twenty-five years. His real-life cases have made headlines in The Philadelphia Inquirer and The New Haven Register. He caught the writing bug in 2011 and has written 15 books to date. He was selected as a judge for the Shamus awards, and was a panelist and debut writer at the Mystery Writers Bouchercon conference in 2019. His six-book FBI Agent Marsha O'Shea series has been hailed as realistic crime dramas. Follow the clues with the four-book Gwendolyn Strong Small Town Cozy Mystery Series. Hoda's memoir Mugshots: My Favorite Detective Stories tells the best stories from his career. He has been a lifetime athlete, running marathons, bicycling long distance,s and playing semi-professional football. He lives in Milford.
