Izzy Abrahmson the award-winning author of "The Village Life" series of books. He has toured the world, delighting readers and listeners of all ages with his stories interspersed with his unique klezmer harmonica sounds. (Izzy is also a pen name for author and storyteller Mark Binder.) Izzy began writing stories of THE VILLAGE LIFE as the editor of The Rhode Island Jewish Herald Newspaper. Since then, these tales have been published in hundreds of newspapers and magazines around the world, including The Forward, Hadassah, Cricket Magazine, The School, and many many more. Izzy likes to say that while his stories are Jewish and often family-oriented, he writes for readers of all backgrounds and all ages.
