Ismael Santiago Rubio (1988) is a science fiction and thriller writer. Passionate about cinema, comics, and literature since childhood, he published his first novel, Exiled in the Future, in 2014, followed by Traveling Between Two Worlds (2016), which concluded his first duology. In 2019, his work Inmemorian won the Amazon Literary Award among more than 2,500 participants, establishing him as a reference in the technothriller genre and launching a namesake series that has captivated readers worldwide. The Inmemorian saga consists of four installments: • Soulstone: Dreams of Inmemorian – Vol. 0 (2024) • Inmemorian – Vol. 1 (2019) • The Case of the Useless Brains – Vol. 2 (2021) • The Charge of Jacke Vance – Vol. 3 (2025) Beyond his fiction work, in 2022, he published the essay How I Won the Amazon Literary Award and Advice from Other Winners and Finalists, a book aimed at guiding future contestants through the competition while sharing a personal and meaningful experience from his journey. Currently, he is developing a new thriller series set in one of Spain’s most traditional neighborhoods, featuring a Romani Civil Guard officer with a unique perspective. Ismael has also ventured into podcasting with El Cosmonauta, a show about science, mystery, and fiction that he produced for over three years and is still available on Ivoox.
