Iris Dorbian is an arts and business journalist and award-winning novelist. As a journalist, she has covered a wide range of sectors that include small business, media, private equity/venture capital and theater/the arts. Her work has been featured in Forbes, Thomson Reuters, Wall Street Journal, Crain's New York Business, Business Insider, PE Hub, Buyouts, Venture Capital Journal, Investopedia, DMNews, Playbill, Backstage, Theatermania, Dance Magazine, Media Industry Newsletter, PRNews and Stage Directions where she served as editor-in-chief for eight years. She is the author of "Great Producers: Visionaries of the American Theater," published by Allworth Press/Skyhorse Publishing in August 2008; "An Epiphany in Lilacs: In the Aftermath of the Camps," originally published by Mazo Publishers in January 2017; "Sentenced to Shakespeare," published by Sunbury Press/Milford House Press in July 2019; and the award-winning "Next Stop, Boston," published by Black Pawn Press in 2023.
