This is H. J. Zeger's second novel. A historical fiction that takes place in Hungary and other parts of Europe from 1933 through 1945. The author's first book, If Frogs Could Fly, was written under his psuedonym, E. B. Mendel. A satirical tale about an expedition team that searches for a lost tribe of Israel in the Amazon Jungle of Peru. The novel is being made into an audio book and is curruntly unavailable in print. Mr. Zeger grew up in Newburgh, New York, a city overlooking the Hudson River. He graduated schools there, then attended the Culinary Institute of America, in Hyde Park N.Y. where he studied to become a chef, and went onto a career in the catering, restaurant and hotel business. He started writng in the year 2000. Mostly self taught, Mr. Zeger established an independent publishing company called Sunbridge Books.
