Graham St John, PhD, is a cultural anthropologist specialising in transformational events, movements and figures. He is a recipient of a Marie Skłodowska-Curie European Fellowship forthcoming (2022-2024) in the Department of History, English, Linguistics and Music, at the University of Huddersfield, UK. Among his nine books are Mystery School in Hyperspace: A Cultural History of DMT (North Atlantic Books 2015), Global Tribe: Technology, Spirituality and Psytrance (Equinox 2012), Technomad: Global Raving Countercultures (Equinox, 2009), and he is currently completing an intellectual biography of Terence McKenna (forthcoming with MIT Press).
