Gin Noon Spaulding has enjoyed writing since growing up in Tullahoma, TN. She has often entertained family and friends with endless stories about her family, being raised in a small town, and life in general! Mrs. Spaulding holds a BS in Education from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN, and a Master of Education degree from the University of Louisville. Mrs. Spaulding's daughter (Maleah) is her inspiration for "The Adventures of Li-Li", her very first children's book series. Each book in the series will focus on at least two sensory issues. She plans to address all 7 senses (Yes....there are seven senses. Most people know about five of them, but there are also two hidden senses many aren't aware of.....vestibular and proprioception). Mrs. Spaulding chooses to write about sensory issues because so many people aren't aware of them or the effect they can have on children. Her first book from the series, A Miracle at Bates Memorial is about the day she finally understood her child's sensory issues. Mrs. Spaulding's hope is that she can encourage parents....helping them to understand that they are not alone AND to give little ones the voice they may not have to describe what is really going on in their minds, hearts, and bodies. When Mrs. Spaulding's not writing, she likes to volunteer (to feed the homeless, with her child's charity - Blankets of Hope by Maleah and Friends, and at church), travel everywhere....especially to TN to see her family and friends, shop, talk on the phone, meet new people, and spend time with her husband of 20 years, Larry, and their only child, Maleah Antonia Spaulding, their blessing and whiz kid.
