George Rush has written for Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, Esquire, the Conde Nast Traveler, Men's Journal, Departures, Travel + Leisure, Talk and Spy, among other magazines. After meeting Joanna Molloy at the New York Post's Page Six column, the pair wed and begat the Rush & Molloy column at the New York Daily News. Together, they produced almost 4,000 servings of breaking news about film, politics, finance, media, music, television, fashion and sports. The internationally syndicated dispatches had an audience of 12.5 million readers on-line and in print. Rush’s interview subjects have included Bill and Hillary Clinton, Sen. John Edwards, Sarah Palin, Ted Turner, Sumner Redstone, Richard Branson, Oprah Winfrey, Madonna, John F. Kennedy, Jr., Salman Rushdie, Bono, Tom Cruise, George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Rush and Molloy are the authors of "Scandal: A Manual," a personal chronicle of celebrity coverage from the twilight of Winchell to the dawn of Twitter. Rush is the author of "Confessions of an Ex-Secret Service Agent," which he adapted as a screenplay for Warner Brothers. He was also the co-host of “The Rush & Molloy Show” on eYada.com, host of “The Rush Report” for the CW Network, a main “character” on Bravo’s “Tabloid Wars” series, and has appeared on “Anderson Cooper 360,” “Hardball with Chris Matthews,” “Entertainment Tonight,” “Extra,” and “Access Hollywood.” A son of Highland Park, Illinois, he has tramped through 35 or so countries, meeting everybody from Malagasy necromancers to King Mswati III of Swaziland. He graduated from Brown University and Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism.
