Gary Paul Bryant is the author of The Stringship Chronicles, Reworld, The First Ride: The Real Story of Santa Claus and Awkward, among many others. Gary began building rocket ships from old washing machines in his parent’s backyard. In the 1980s, he invented the original joystick port for Commodore Computer Inc and later programmed the first digital synthesis office suite, TalkTools for the Amiga platform. After several years working for a Palo Alto technology consultancy and before spawning dozens of web brands and businesses, Gary founded Time Pilot, a pre-Web interactive gaming magazine. Futurist, tech nerd, and perennial kid@heart, Gary continues writing science-fiction, paranormal, and children’s stories. Songwriter Gary has an impressive and diverse body of musical work. An award-winning musician, songwriter, and composer, his composing encompasses everything from world fusion to jazz and rock. He has composed a wide variety of multimedia including video, radio, podcasts, television, and web projects. Gary has produced several albums including WildLife, Big World, and Imaginary Piano. Since the mid-90s, his songs have been streamed by Spotify, iTunes, and Amazon millions of times. Over nine-thousand YouTube videos have used his music. He’s been nominated twice for Hollywood Music in Media Awards, he is an eight-time ASCAP Award winner and finalist in the International Songwriting Contest. He’s an author of hundreds of songs, with 21 CD releases. Gary is a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP). He is also a voting member of The National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (GRAMMY).
