Hello, my name is Frank Nino IV, and I've had a remarkable journey in life. Born in Los Angeles in the 1980s, I grew up primarily in Arizona, but I've had the opportunity to live in various states like California, New Mexico, Texas, North Carolina, and even Mexico. As a Mexican-American, I am deeply proud of my heritage and the rich cultural background that shapes who I am. Life presented its challenges early on, as my mother gave birth to me at the young age of 16 and tragically passed away when she was only 23. This unfortunate turn of events led me to reside in group homes, where I experienced the upheaval of moving to nearly 50 different homes between the ages of 10 and 18. Despite the hardships I faced growing up, I firmly believe that we hold the keys to building our own futures. I refused to be defined by the negative influences surrounding me, including gangs, violence, and drugs. Instead, I focused on education, personal growth, and embracing the opportunities life had to offer. For over 20 years, I dedicated myself to the field of education as a full-time physical education teacher and athletic director. Recently, I embarked on a new venture as the proud owner of Rising Sun Athletic League, a part-time business that aims to make a positive impact and bring about change within the communities of Phoenix, AZ. Through Rising Sun Athletic League, we strive to give back to those who invested so much in my life, demonstrating my gratitude by creating opportunities for others. By fostering a sense of community and empowerment, we aim to inspire individuals and promote positive engagement.
