Fidel Chacon is an International Financial Services Leader with extensive experience in the Payment Products and Technology industries with world-class banks and multinational organizations, including Visa, Bank of America, Amazon, and The Federal Reserve bank of Boston. He was born in California and his parents are from Venezuela, where he grew up, until he moved to Miami Florida in 1999. He received his Bachelor of Arts, Economics, from the Universidad Central de Venezuela in 1993 and his Master of International Business (MIB) from the Florida International University (FIU) in 2003. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) at FIU. Fidel has experienced first hand, the evolution of the Payments Industry on a global scale. From the traditional plastic-based transaction to the ecommerce explosion, technological milestones, digital payments revolution (chip, token), as well as moving funds real time. All in all, a professional journey being part of a resilient and innovative industry focused on technology, evolution, and financial inclusion. As a fan and supporter of arts, he has always considered himself a storyteller and for that reason, at this point of his career he has also decided to explore this field writing his first Novella, Storyless.
