Farhad Babaei was born in Tehran in 1977. He is an Iranian novelist. In 2005 He graduated from the Karnameh Literary School creative writing workshop. He has published two short story collections and more than five novels. He has collaborated with some publications as a Literary consultant and editor from 2005 to 2011. His notable works include Jamming (2012), and Mr. Grayeli’s Family (2016). Farhad Babaei's novel Jamming was adapted into a 2016 play by the name of The Blink. He lives and works in Germany and the recent years most of his books ahave been banned due to censorship.
