Eric "Superman" Sturgess is a distinguished author and collector recognized for assembling the largest collection of California prison art in the world. Maintaining consistent communication with inmates throughout the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, Eric engages with them through daily texts and phone calls. It isn't just a business relationship he has with these men in California's prisons. He has become friends with several of them, and they would echo these sentiments. His good friend Downer says it best: "I appreciate someone interested in what we do and our talent. We're not just gang members and criminals. We're individuals with a heart and a story to tell. We're human, and we're worthy of second chances." Eric is married and blessed with four beautiful daughters who are the love of his life. He lives his life to be the most honorable Christian, husband, and father that he can be by God’s grace.
