Emmanuel Ekuvero grew up in his native country of Nigeria with dreams of coming to America. Filled with hope and promise, he set out to begin a new life. Like most things, that reality was far different from what he envisioned. Although he was a strong Christian and Pastored for some years before migrating to the US, he was threatened with being thrown in jail upon arrival, Emmanuel had trouble reconciling the truth from his fantasy. A pastor, he believed his standing was enough to prove him a model citizen. Emmanuel’s path went down dark roads, leading him to places of crises, that tried the strength of his soul, to the point that he began to contemplate suicide as the only way out. He overcame and uses that experience to provide hope, warmth, and a brighter future to any who will listen. Passionate, caring, and thoughtful, Emmanuel now has a thriving life coaching business helping others by not only spreading the word of God but using his personal experience to show others that anxiety and depression can be beaten. He is a public speaker, life coach and author who specializes in mindfulness and resilience. Emmanuel currently resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
