ELLIS HENICAN is a New York Times bestselling author, a Pulitzer Prize-winning newspaper columnist and a popular TV news pundit. He is also the voice of Stormy on the hit Cartoon Network series Sealab 2021. His latest book, Let Me Finish: Trump, the Kushners, Bannon, New Jersey, and the Power of In-Your-Face Politics (Hachette Books), is written with Chris Christie, who served as Governor of New Jersey and was also a candidate for president in 2016. The book is a no-holds barred look at politics from a Trump campaign insider and friend. Ellis is a born storyteller. His How to Catch a Russian Spy, written with American double-agent Naveed Jamali (Scribner), was called “the funniest book I read” by Washington Post critic Carlos Lozada and is being made into a feature film by director Marc Webb (500 Days of Summer, The Amazing Spider Man) for Twentieth Century Fox. Recently, Ellis also wrote Trumpitude (Post Hill Press), a comic look at being Donald Trump, and The Uninvited with Craig Schmell (Post Hill Press), the true story of a young impostor with a talent for crashing celebrity events who discovers what's really important in life. Ellis wrote the ground-breaking Vigilance with longtime New York City police commissioner Ray Kelly (Hachette Books) and Worth Dying For with Navy SEAL commander Rorke Denver (Howard Books), a follow-up to their special-ops bestseller Damn Few (Hyperion). Making It in America, with furniture titan John Bassett III (Center Street), tells how U.S. companies in the Trump era can survive foreign competition and keep American jobs at home. Bassett, who refused to close his factory in Virginia, is the focus of an upcoming HBO miniseries being developed by Tom Hanks’s Playtone Productions. He also wrote a weekly column “Trump’s America” for Metro Newspapers. Ellis hosted a daily, afternoon-drive radio show on WOR/710 in New York and a weekend show for Bloomberg Radio. He spent 13 years as a contributor to the Fox News Channel and now appears frequently on CNN, MSNBC, FOX, i24 and other networks where he is known for his lively analysis of national politics. He is also an in-demand keynote speaker, panel moderator and event host.
