José María Lobo Martínez has been a doctor specializing in family and community medicine since 2001, having completed his university training at the University of Seville (Spain). He is a university expert in systemic family therapy, health management and administration, advanced life support, management of clinics, medical centers and hospitals, and pharmacology, nutrition and sports supplementation. He has completed a master's degree in sports medicine and two university extensions in medical English and vaccines in primary care. He specializes in epidemiology and public health as well as direction and management of SMEs. He is part of the Spanish Society of Family and Community Medicine and the Spanish Society of Sports Medicine and has been a member of the General Medical Council of the United Kingdom. He has extensive experience as a family doctor, for more than twenty years, in more than a hundred health centers in several autonomous communities of the Spanish territory, such as Madrid, Asturias, Andalusia, Castilla La Mancha, Extremadura and Murcia. It is in this last autonomous community where he has carried out most of his medical activity and where, currently, he has been the medical coordinator of the Health Center of the municipality of Cehegin for more than five years. He is currently part of the group of researchers of the Iberican project for the analysis of risk factors and cardiovascular diseases in the Spanish adult population treated in primary care, collaborating in the publication of numerous articles and scientific communications.
