Douglas J Wemple, a Michigan native now calling Florida home, embarked on a transformative journey in September 2020. At a crossroads in life, he felt a divine calling to a new path, which led him to accomplish a remarkable feat: writing his debut novel, Something We Never Imagined. Douglas felt a deep-seated urge to write a novel for over thirty years, but life's demands always seemed to intervene. Then, the Pandemic of 2020 struck, disrupting not just his life but the entire world. It was a time when Douglas was on the brink of giving up, but divine intervention steered him towards a different path. In his debut novel, Douglas shares a poignant story about the transformative power of forgiveness, a key that opens our hearts to love in ways we never thought possible. Since then, his faith has restored his marriage and family. When he's not immersed in his writing, Douglas cherishes moments with his wife Amanda and their three children, Elijah, Noah, and Kylie. He is currently engrossed in crafting several more novels and eagerly anticipates the journey ahead, with God as his guiding light.
