Doron Darmon, born in Israel in December 1962, is an Israeli entrepreneur, ultramarathon athlete, and best-selling fiction author. Doron, a graduate of Ben Gurion University with a Bachelor of Science & Master of Science in computer and electrical engineering, instilled in his children a passion for pursuing their dreams and excelling in their chosen endeavors. Beyond his academic pursuits, Doron delved into the realms of personal triathlon coaching and personal training. His participation in Ironman competitions and ultramarathon races provided profound insights into life, goal attainment, and resilience in the face of challenges. Notably, he is the father of an Olympic triathlete who competed in the 2016 Olympics in Rio De Janeiro. The youngest of three siblings in a family that sought refuge in Israel during the Algerian War for Independence in the 1960s, Doron’s parents survived persecution during World War II as teenagers in Algeria, narrowly escaped deportation to concentration camps in North Africa, and were rescued at the eleventh hour by the Allied forces. Doron's debut novel, The Parisian Dancer, draws inspiration from the true story of Marcel Ladenhiem, recounting the tale of a cabaret dancer instrumental in aiding two brothers’ Holocaust survival in Paris. His second book, The Entrepreneurial Way of Parenting, focuses on education, derived from his own experiences raising five children with values and tools for the 21st century. Today, Doron Darmon is an accomplished author and a CTO at a global firm that manages cybersecurity crises. While he continues to write, he dedicates his time to coaching individuals, helping them achieve their goals and pursue their dreams.
