Donelle Pardee Whiting’s love for the written word has led her from helping friends in school with their papers to working at various small-town newspapers, and most recently, to editing for Stitched Smile Publications, where she is also a published author. Her combined experience as a writer and editor, and her dedication to both the craft and the company gained her the title of Head Editor. Though SSP is an indie publishing house specializing in the horror and dark fantasy/sci-fi genre, Donelle enjoys reading just about anything. Donelle lives in Illinois with her husband, Christian, who reminds her not to take life too seriously. She and Christian have two dogs and a grown son, who married his high school sweetheart, and gave her four grandchildren (also known as her granlittles), two large breed granddogs, and a handful of grandchickens. In addition to spending time with family, riding on the back of her husband's Harley, photography, traveling with her mother, and of course reading, Donelle enjoys a good cup of coffee, chocolate, and cookies.
