Ddwlem decided in 2009 it was time to stop talking about IZ and start putting the fun of this adventure into written form. With Duayne's interest in astronomy and years as an organic chemist and Sandy's curiosity about cultures and years as an educator, the two set out to use their symbiotic creativity in this daunting task. After travels home and abroad for research, and trash cans full of re-edits, BOOK 1 ENCOUNTERS was published in February of 2015. In August of 2015 it won a FAPA, Florida Authors and Publisher's Award. Now characters' actions are flying from the keyboard as BOOK 2 CREATION nears completion.
