Davina Rush was born in Northwest Florida and now resides there, surrounded by family. She loves to travel and has explored many fascinating and strange places across the country, collecting inspiration for her stories through her adventures and personal experiences. She enjoys visiting abandoned, haunted and historic places. Davina has written and illustrated a handful of educational Coloring books, but her greatest passion is writing Haunted Southern Gothic Fiction. Her biggest literary influences have been Lewis Carroll, C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, Neil Gaiman, Stephen King, J.K. Rowling, Susan Hill, Tony Hillerman, Alice Hoffman and Marion Zimmer Bradley.
