From a young age, I was drawn to the world of entrepreneurship, fascinated by the potential to turn ideas into thriving businesses. This passion led me to embark on a journey that has spanned decades, filled with learning, growth, and success. My entrepreneurial path began with the founding of three companies, two of which I built from scratch. Among these ventures, Trent Capital Management stands out as a testament to strategic vision and perseverance. Starting at the age of 33, I nurtured this firm into a formidable entity, and by the time I exited at 60, it had grown to manage over a billion in assets. I often say, “Success is not just about what you achieve, but about the impact you make on others along the way.” Today, my primary focus is on empowering leaders through my role as a Chairman of multiple CEO Peer Groups with LXCouncil. These groups provide a confidential and collaborative environment where CEOs can share insights, solve challenges, and drive growth. I believe that “The best ideas often come from the conversations we have with one another,” and it is this collective wisdom that fuels innovation and success. Driven by a desire to share my experiences and insights, I authored "Elevate Others: Lessons for Purpose-Driven Entrepreneurs." This book reflects my belief that true success lies in empowering others and fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.
