When he isn’t writing, David M. Pearce works as a local government attorney. His work primarily involves environmental and land use litigation. He has undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Florida, with a master of studies in environmental law degree from Vermont Law School. David ran a local critique group in Bradenton, Florida for four years. He has published several short stories in The Florida Writer, the Florida Writers Association’s annual collection contest, inAnimal Literary Magazine, and on Medium. His first two science fiction novels, The Holovid Hero and The Bootlegger Broadcast have won awards in the unpublished science fiction category of the Royal Palm Literary Awards. The third novel in the series is entitled The Reality Rescue. David’s favorite novels are those that transport him to fantasy and science fiction worlds, including those in The Expanse series by James S.A. Corey, a Song of Fire and Ice series by George R.R. Martin, and The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher
