Danielle Hering, LMFT, is a psychotherapist and certified David Elliott breathwork practitioner specializing in healing trauma and sexual abuse. Danielle also trains new breathwork facilitators and leads retreats around the country. She found breathwork training in 2010 and it completely changed her life. The breathwork she learned there has proven so effective in helping clients heal more completely and feel better faster that it is now the main modality she uses. She undertakes it and teaches it as a spiritual practice that she has seen open up—for herself and her peers, students, and clients—all the kinds of experiences that Mia and others come to know in this book. Danielle grew up in Lima, Peru, and now lives in San Diego County, California.
