The Hugh C. Hyde Living Writers Series at San Diego State University honored ORFAN as a selection in 2012 and ORFAN was also a 2012-2013 nominee for the the Freshmen Common Reading Program at California State University, Northridge. A contributor to the non-fiction anthologies, ADOPTION REUNION and ADOPTION THERAPY (Entourage Publishing, 2014), Corie also writes a travel blog at www.desto3.com and contributes regularly to The Big Smoke USA. Corie's short story, HOW DORA FLEMING LOST HER FAITH AND FOUND GOD was recorded by J. David Core and distributed on the podcast, THRILLS AND MYSTERY.
