THE AUTHOR Claudio Calabrese was born in Bari on 14 July 1971. He graduated with a degree in Engineering while writing his first sci-fi novel (“TIME HAS NO SHADOW,” available on Amazon.it). For 10 years he worked for various multinationals all around Italy in the field of quality, environment and safety. He then decided to provide his professional experience to the Court and the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Bari working as Expert Witness (Civil and Criminal) with reference to fatal road and railway accidents. Throughout the years, though, he has never stopped cultivating his passion for writing with the characteristic of working on several books at a time. He varies among literary genres. To date he has written 11 books: 1. "The logic of madness" (An Inspector Pantaleo Mystery - Book 1) 2. "The crossed thread" (An Inspector Pantaleo Mystery - Book 2) 3. "The revenge of time" (An Inspector Pantaleo Mystery - Book 3) 4. "The roots of fear" (An Inspector Pantaleo Mystery - Book 4) 5. "A suspended future - The true story of Inspector Pantaleo (Prequel of the 4 Pantaleo mysteries) 6. "Waiting for the rest of my life" (a story between reality and fiction, in a big city of Southern Italy) 7. "Freewheeling" (a romantic comedy drawing inspiration from a true story) 8. "Time has no shadow" (a sci-fi thriller) 9. "A Dinner with Death" (a fantasy-horror) 10. "A voice from the dark" (a thriller) 11. "The 7th day" (a fantasy thriller) 12. "IN SHOCK" (a thriller) Currently, the author is working on 3 books: - The lighthouse of the Cursed Island (fantasy-horror) - Back not Back (sequel of the successful novel "A FREE WHEEL") - The magic world of SCRIVA'SIA (a fantasy for children and adults) Claudio Calabrese has also written many short stories, all published on Amazon.it under “Racconti.” (Short Stories).
