The National Association of Professional Women named her a Woman of the Year. Charreah previously served as ESSENCE Senior Editor where she launched the brand’s E Suite, a live event and community for executives and entrepreneurs. The Howard University graduate is an award-winning journalist including a Hearst Award for her editorials and a New York Association of Black Journalists award for her work on ESSENCE’s 30 dates in 30 Days franchise. Before turning 25 Charreah battled cancer, was downsized from her dream job in the recession and found out she was the other woman in a new relationship. Her setbacks taught her early our happiness and success always lives in our own hands. She takes her own advice to be your best advocate, which lead her to interviewing Oprah Winfrey in the mogul’s backyard. Charreah now guides others to own their power and manifest their dreams. Charreah has traveled the globe sharing a message of connection and empowerment including events in London, Amsterdam and South Africa. Her passion for people is contagious.
