My first Amazon-published book, Adam and Eve: The Greatest Love Story, was born one day when I was sitting at church and listening to the pastor talk about Genesis. Then he mentioned that, according to the bible, Adam was never deceived. Wow! I sat up, started flipping through my bible, and by golly, there it was. 1 Timothy 2:14--Adam not deceived. Then why would he have eaten the fruit? That moment began a five-year journey that culminated with this book. So, as with most writers, I have to be passionate about the topic. Unfortunately I was a technical writer for about 20 years of my life, so writing in an interesting and engaging fashion doesn't come easy to me. One book editor pointed me out in a seminar a long time ago (I had submitted a work to her), and she kept saying the word "boring," complete with eye rolls and glares. And it wasn't just "boring." It was "booooorrrring." I think I crawled under my chair and stayed there. That said, I love to write. I love to allow the thoughts to flow from my head onto the screen, regardless of the inanity of whatever I've written. Hobbies? 30 years of martial arts, yoga, settling in with a good book, walking the dogs, and hanging out with my husband.
