Catherine is a late discovered autistic writer, psychotherapist (and ex NHS Strategist) and the founder and host of popular podcast and community ‘The Late Discovered Club’. The podcast has an ever growing global community currently in over 125 countries, 150K downloads (putting it in the Top 5% of podcasts worldwide* according to The Podcast Host) and was ranked the number one podcast for 'Female Autism' in the world by FeedSpot in 2023/24 - season 4 began in January 2025. Catherine also works with a variety of organisations as a trainer, consultant and speaker on all things inclusion, women, autism and mental health, and was a trainer and content developer on the groundbreaking NHS National Autism Trainer Programme 2023/24 training 100's of mental health professionals on how to deliver better care. She is a guest lecturer at UCL and an Associate with AT-Autism, which is a non-profit organisation in the UK and internationally. A 2 x times breast cancer survivor, Catherine wrote her first book ‘Rediscovered’ whilst undergoing treatment. Her second book 'When The Body Says Enough' will explore burnout and chronic pain/fatigue amongst late discovered autistic women, creating a space for stories to be heard, and our pain and fatigue better understood and supported, and it will be published in 2026 by JKP. She lives in Ilkley, West Yorkshire in the UK with her children, and is a power chair user - who goes by the name of Gloria. Asta (which means ‘divine strength’) is the middle name Catherine gifted to herself in her 30’s to honour her strength, her danish heritage and her love of all things scandi.
